'Bullet Raja' UP based, but different from 'Omkara': Saif Ali Khan

Actor Saif Ali Khan has teamed up with director Tigmanshu Dhulia for Uttar Pradesh-based gangster movie "Bullet Raja" and says it will be very different from "Omkara." "I am very excited to be working with Sonakshi (Sinha) and I am excited to be working with Tigmanshu (Dhulia). I think it's going to be a good, fun movie. I am looking forward to start shooting. It's different from 'Omkara'...it will be based on Tigmanshu's understanding and strengths, but yes, it will be UP (Uttar Pradesh) based," the 42-year-old said here Thursday at the Amby Valley Fashion Week.

Meanwhile, the premise of Saif's failed production "Agent Vinod" was very similar to superstar Salman Khan's blockbuster spy thriller "Ek Tha Tiger".

When asked the reason for the difference in business, Saif said, "If we could understand this thing so easily, then every film would have been a super hit. Some ideas work, some don't. Almost all of Salman's films work, he is a special superstar. I don't know."

Hero Suriya kick-starts Singam 2 from Sep 26

Suriya, who is gearing for the grand release of his KV Anand directed Maatran on Oct 12th worldwide with Kajal Agarwal as his love lead, is all set to kick-start his first sequel Singam 2 from this Sep 26th.Director of Singam, Hari is all set to wield the camera for this sequel too under the production of Studio Greens banner. Devi Sri Prasad has already started composing the music scores for the audio album of Singam 2, which will start rolling from this 26th in Thoothukudi and the shoot starts with the filming of a mass number on Suriya.

Suriya, who is busy dubbing for his ‘Brothers’, Telugu version of Maatran, will join Hari for the photoshoot of Singam 2 in the coming week, followed by the movie shooting on 26th Sep. Hansika will be playing the female lead for Suriya in Singam 2 while Anushka will be seen in a cameo role along with the complete cast and crew of Singam joining hands once again for this sequel too.

Prince Mahesh Babu, Venkatesh SVSC release date out

The release date of Mahesh Babu, Venkatesh’s Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu [SVSC] is confirmed on December 21 by the producer of the film Dil Raju. Srikanth Addala is wielding the megaphone for this youthful family entertainer. Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh will be seen pairing up with Samantha and Anjali respectively. Prakash Raj and Jayasudha are playing vital roles as parents to Mahesh and Venky who will be seen as brothers.

SVSC shooting will be wrapped up completely in a month time and the audio launch is planned to be held in November. Mickey J Meyer is the music director. K.V.Guhan is the cinematographer and Marthand.K.Venkatesh is handling the editing for Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu.

I am ready for marriage: Actress Priyanka Chopra

Actress Priyanka Chopra, who is looking forward to Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor wedding, says that she is ready to settle down, but is unable to find her Mr. Right.
"From the age of four I have been waiting to get married. I am ready for it. My mom, dad are also ready but the only problem is I am not getting Mr. Right. So that is a technical problem," Priyanka told reporters Thursday when asked if she is planning to settle down too.

Priyanka, who has turned a singer, was talking at an event to unveil her first single "In My City".

Meanwhile, Saif and Kareena are likely to tie the knot Oct 16, and expressing her happiness for them, Priyanka said: "It is a beautiful thing that she is getting married. I feel it is the most beautiful beginning of a new journey. To me, Saif and Kareena make a wonderful lovable couple. I am looking forward to their marriage."

However, neither Saif nor Kareena has confirmed their wedding date yet.

Hero Prabhas Rebel audio launched in style

Prabhas, Tamanna, Deeksha Seth starrer Rebel audio launch was held on a grand scale at Shilpa Kala Vedika in Hyderabad on Friday, the 14th September. The event was attended by Prabhas, Lawrence, Deeksha Seth, Bellamkonda Sures, SS Rajamouli, Dil Raju, Brahmanandam, N V Prasad, Aali, Supreeth, J Pulla Rao, J Bhagawan, Chalapathi Rao, Ali and others.

Krishnam Raju released the Rebel audio and presented the first copy to Rajamouli. Rebel is released through Aditya Music Company and Suma hosted the event while Russian dancers and actress Rachana Mourya and other singers performed on stage.

Rebel is directed by Raghava Lawrence and produced by J Bhagawan and J Pulla Rao jointly under Sri Balaji Cine Media banner. Musical scores are by Lawrence.
